Do I need to be tech-savvy or own a laptop to use Miali?

Accepted Answer

No to both. Miali runs entirely in your phone's browser: bookings, clients, reminders, and analytics all work from a phone. If you can use Instagram, you can use Miali.

How do I remove my payment method?

Dashboard → Account → Billing → Manage. That opens your billing portal where you can remove your card. Your account keeps working as normal: you'll still get your free reminders each period, you just won't be billed for extra ones until you add a payment method again.

What happens if I go over my free WhatsApp reminders?

Nothing changes about your account: bookings, staff, and clients stay unlimited no matter how many reminders you send. You're simply billed per additional reminder sent beyond your free monthly allowance, charged in arrears at the end of your billing period.

How do I set up WhatsApp reminders?

Dashboard → Account → Settings → Automated Reminders. Enable reminders, set your lead time, and make sure WhatsApp is checked as a notification channel. Clients get reminders automatically on the number they booked with.

My client didn't receive their WhatsApp reminder. What should I check?

First: confirm the phone number is saved with the correct country code (e.g. +254 for Kenya, +27 for South Africa, +971 for UAE). Then confirm reminders are on in Dashboard → Account → Settings. Still not working? Message us and we'll look at the logs.

Yes. You can enable any combination of WhatsApp and email in your reminder settings. Most clients prefer WhatsApp.

Yes. Your booking page is live 24/7. Clients can book at 2 AM. You'll get a notification when it happens, but you don't need to be online.
