Questions people ask first
Is it really free?
Yes. The Free plan includes your booking page, client records, rewards and reports, with up to 10 online bookings and 10 WhatsApp-reminded appointments a month. Walk-ins and bookings you make to try your own page are never counted. Pro is $4 a month for unlimited bookings, and there's no card needed to start.
Do my clients need to download an app?
No. Your booking page opens in any browser, and clients don't need an account. They get their confirmation and reminders on WhatsApp, and by email if they leave one.
Can clients cancel or reschedule on their own?
Yes. Every booking comes with a link where the client can pick a new time or cancel, up to a cutoff you set, like 24 hours before. You get a notification either way, and the freed-up time goes back on your booking page. After the cutoff, they're asked to message you instead.
Can clients show me the look they want?
Yes. Right after booking, and any time before the visit from their booking link, clients can add up to 3 inspo photos. You see them on the appointment. They're private to you and the client.
Can clients pay a deposit with M-Pesa?
Yes. You set your deposit and how you get paid, clients pay you directly and enter the payment reference, and you confirm it. The money comes straight to you.
I travel to my clients. Does it work for me?
Yes. Mark which services are home visits, list the towns you cover and the travel fee for each. Clients see the full price, and you get their address with the booking.
Do I need a laptop?
No. Miali is built for your phone first. Use it in your browser, add it to your home screen, or get the Android app on Google Play.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It's yours. Export your clients, appointments and services from your settings at any time, and delete your account whenever you like.
